Upgrading various wordpress blogs. Some, like this one are no trouble at all and just work. Others are nightmarish and cause huge problems. Note to self- back up, then disable plug-ins, revert theme to 2010 and then upgrade. It’s just good sense.

Tough day for getting going, still got a sore throat/earache and low energy levels. Going for slow but steady fairly mindless actions today. More creative stuff will have to wait.
Still, I’m not disheartened. Progress and moving forward, but just slower than I’d like is OK.
Did I mention I love my WordPress theme (P2) ? It makes quick blog posts so easy to pop up and replying to comments feels much more instant than doing it from the dashboard.

Installing google gears and enabling turbo for my wordpress blogs, failing to sort out gmail to work offline. Cursing the need to do it – mobile dongle=not much better than dial-up. Feels like stepping back in time
